Certificate IV in Business

This qualification covers a variety of positions in Business Services leading to equipping individuals to supervisory roles and being able to apply and perform across a variety of industry areas. People in these roles carry out a mix of specialist and moderately complex administrative or operational tasks that require self-development skills.

Admission Requirements

  • Completion of high school studies equivalent to Australian Year 12 schooling OR
  • Completion of secondary school / A level education overseas OR
  • Demonstrated knowledge, skills, and experience in business, administrative, or retail as per AQF requirements

English Language Requirement (for international students only)

You will be required to provide proof of English language proficiency as required by the Department of Home Affairs (DHA) as evidence of English language proficiency for the student visa application processes.

  • IELTS Test Score of 5.5 OR
  • TOEFL (ibt) Test Score of 46 OR
  • TOEFL (PBT) Test Score of 527 OR
  • Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) Test Score 162
  • PTE Academic Test Score 42 OR
  • OET Pass Grade OR
  • If you are an international student currently studying in Australia and have studied for 6 months or more at AQF Certificate III level or above.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) or Credit Transfer (CT)
Recognition of prior learning and credit transfer may reduce the duration of a student’s studies.  To apply for recognition of prior learning or credit transfer, students must submit an application form along with all documentary evidence to ATI.
